This documentary from Neil Halloran is quite extraordinary both for its breathtaking analysis of war throughout recorded history and for the deep insights about our own humanity. H/T to Judy Mam for sharing!
Have you ever wanted to go back in time and be inside a 1940's cartoon? Do you love Felix the Cat and Steamboat Willie? DO you like Jazz? Have I got a game for you! You can find this modern relic "Cuphead" on Steam. Six words you'll rarely hear me say; "I can't wait to demo this." Cuphead from Studio MDHR coming soon to your XBOX, yeah, you heard that right, Microsoft picked this one up.
Converse commercial i (Harry Bliss) shot with my brother (Charlie)...homage to Ray Harryhausen.

the footage...the crowd scene was shot across the street from 7-Days.
The rest was filmed on my basement ping-pong table...
Given that we are 'softwired' for empathy, could we maybe try a little harder to address pollution & climate change now as a family, a human family? Here is Jeremy Rifkin collaborating with RSAnimate back in 2010.
Given the latest numbers on pollution that came out in the NYT today, 400 parts per million of CO2 measured in our
atmosphere, we need a game change. Oil, coal, gas and nukes are killing the planet we live on, it may not save us, but if we change to Solar, Wind, Geothermal and other non-toxic renewables, it will at least save future generations and restore the balance.
McCann Australia was asked to inform people of safety issues in and around the Melbourne Metro trains. Very fiendish and friendly little PSA, it hits the sweet spot for the youth market, and I also feel it crosses over. Love the dark humor, simplicity of the execution, and the song by Tangerine Kitty nails it.
